Protein Smoothie – A Quick Breakfast Recipe

I was never really a breakfast fan, I know it’s the most important meal of the day and you’re supposed to have it King-size. But I just can’t get myself to enjoy it.

However, as a part of my bulking plan, ( Skinny to Brawny Transformation ) a well balanced, nutrient packed breakfast is a must.

The Solution – Protein Smoothie

So me and my wife came up with a protein smoothie recipe that’s quick, hits all the caloric requirements and tastes ok (Can’t have everything).

The Recipe

Step 1

The Powder

Add all these ingredients in a blender

1.5 scoops (30g) whey protein(unflavored)

1 scoop oatmeal

5 almonds

7 pistachio nuts

3 walnuts

1 tsp chia seeds

Blend till it becomes a fine powder

Step 2

Add these into the blender

200 ml milk

Ice cubes

Any one fruit (mango/banana/chikoo/dates etc)

I hate eating fruits too, so adding a different fruit into this every day makes my life easier, also it’s less boring as the flavour varies daily

Step 3

Blend until you get a thick shake and it’s ready to serve
