A quick and spicy snack recipe for a rainy evening
Step 1
In an open pan, add 3 Tbsp of oil, 1 Tsp cumin seeds, a few curry leaves and 2 small onions. Add 2 Tsp of ginger garlic paste and saute till the onions turn translucent.
Step 2
Cut 300 g of boneless chicken into thin slices. Add these chicken juliennes into the same pan. Add 2 Tsp salt, 1 Tsp turmeric powder and saute for 5 minutes.
Blend 2 Tsp poppy seeds and 2 Tbsp of cashew nuts into a fine paste. Add 1 Tbsp red chili powder and this paste into the pan. Stir fry until you get the desired level of thickness in gravy.
Add 1 Tsp of garam masala and a few coriander leaves. Squeeze half a lemon into it and switch off the flame.
Step 3
In a flat bottomed pan, add 1 Tbsp of oil. Mix 2 eggs, and a pinch of salt and pepper together. Pour the eggs onto the pan and add another Tbsp of oil.
Spread the chicken pieces over the omelette. Flip the omelette over and cook on both sides.
Garnish with onions and it’s ready to serve!!!
